Shipping Policy

As a not-for-profit organization, we are committed to providing you with access to valuable books and resources. Please review our shipping policy below to understand how your order will be processed and delivered.

 

 

Shipping Locations:

We currently ship to addresses within India. For international orders, please contact us at books@sringeri.net for assistance and potential options.

Shipment Processing Time:

All orders are typically processed within up to one week, and we strive to process them as quickly as possible.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment is significantly delayed, we will contact you via email or phone.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates:

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Books: A shipping and handling charge may apply and will be mentioned below the price on the book details page.

  • Other Items (e.g., Magnets, Calendars, Photos): Shipping charges will be calculated based on weight and destination and shown at checkout.

Prices quoted in Rupees are valid for delivery within India only. For international delivery, please contact us at books@sringeri.net.

Shipping Partners:

We exclusively use Delhivery for all our shipments, depending on the serviceability of your PIN code. For locations not serviced by Delhivery, we may use India Post at our discretion.

Delivery Timeframe:

Delivery times depend on Delhivery’s policies and network. Generally, delivery is expected within the following timeframes:

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking:

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Cash on Delivery (COD):

Cash on Delivery is not available for book orders at this time.

Taxes:

Shipping charges quoted in your shopping cart are inclusive of GST. There are no hidden costs.

Damages:

We are fully committed to the safe and timely delivery of your order. If your items are damaged in transit, please contact us immediately with your order details. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods for inspection by the insurance company.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery:

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at the time of checkout. If the address cannot be validated, we will attempt to contact you for an update. If we cannot obtain a valid address, the order will be canceled and refunded. We are not responsible for packages lost due to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Missing or Stolen Shipments:

If your order is reported as delivered by the carrier but you have not received it, please notify us as soon as possible. We will file a claim with Delhivery, and law enforcement may be involved. We will replace or refund your order once the investigation is complete. Please allow up to 21 days for the investigation process.
